  1. How many many people on the Autism Spectrum will be employed at Roses for Autism? (work on the farm?)

    Our goal is to provide jobs, training and support for 25 -50 individuals on the autism spectrum within a transitional program.  The objective is for our employees to learn the skills needed to maintain meaningful employment and move into other businesses in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts.
  2. I have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, how do I get a job?

    Need some help getting started?
    Individuals that need job training support but can ultimately work competitively, can request a referred through BRS for a working interview, an assessment for hire, or placement.

    Individuals under the age of 21 who receive Special Education Services through their local Board of Education, they can be referred for a vocational assessment through their school system.
  3. How many roses will you grow this year?

    We grow 16 different varieties of locally grown roses in our 50,000 square foot greenhouse and will sell over 1 million roses this year.

    We grow amazing roses with the help of amazing people right here in CT. Our roses have been blooming with the same quality and integrity since 1929. Offering our customers the rare opportunity to buy locally grown roses that consistently open with full blooms and an exquisite fragrance.

    Proceeds support vocational opportunities for people on the Autism spectrum…expand to other businesses…Roses for Autism is the first business venture under Growing Possibilities, a division of Ability Beyond Disability.
  7. How do I share an idea I have for a future business?

    Call us!  We have a lot of ideas for what is coming next but we would love to hear what your thoughts are.  Roses for Autism blossomed out of an idea one father had…we are sure there are many more out there!
